Coaching College was founded in 2000 by Denise Archie and over the last
10 years has been a recipient of numerous business awards in both the construction
and mining industries for their innovative leadership development programs.
Denise is an entrepreneur and is recognised as a 'pioneer' in the area of vocational education
and training, coaching and mentoring and elearning. Over the last 20 years
Denise has founded and built several businesses including one of the first in Australia
in online learning. (Imagine during 1998
explaining to potential clients how online learning works and could change the
way training was delivered - she was viewed with much scepticism - read 'as
though she had two heads!')
She is recognised as a leader and one of
Australia's experts in her field of learning, development and innovation. During this time Denise has worked
successfully with over 40,000 from many people blue chip companies across
Australia and New Zealand conducting workshops and as a professional coach and
mentor creating powerful transformational results both personally and
professionally for her clients.
Marcus
Archie grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and learned from a young age the
fun, challenge and adventure of being in business. During his school years Marcus
had has first entrée into business by creating a small business concept with
his brother. Marcus began his working experience from the age of 14 and has
worked in numerous small businesses including holding positions as warehouse
manager and retail store manager during his study at university of Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of
Arts. Marcus taught for 5 years at one of Sydney's top performing high schools where his
students enjoyed great success both in the class room and the sporting field
under his guidance as their coach. Marcus has also enjoyed coaching soccer
across a variety of levels and ages; from under 14s, to women's university
teams, to open age men's. His highlight was coaching the 2005 Australian
Women's Maccabiah Team.
Over the last
three and half years Denise and Marcus have officially joined forces and have
developed four successful companies.
