WHY A Play in 3 Acts?
The most popular play structure has 3 ACTS. There is a reason for this. It is called the rule of 3. All great stories have a Beginning, A middle and a resolution. Jokes. Well funny jokes have the set up, the body and the punch line.
In fact the Rule of 3 is so ingrained in our consciousness, that we accept information when it is presented this way much easier.
